Press Kit
We want all students to have the skills to use code as a means of creativity and making real, practical changes to their world.
Only 20% of technical workers at leading tech companies are women, and fewer than 10% are Black or Latino. Governments and non-profits have tried to close this opportunity gap by offering more classes, but most underrepresented students still don't want to learn.
CodeDay's programs attract students with no prior interest in coding, and inspire them to give it a try. More than 70% of new coders who attend continue to pursue coding.
Our Programs:
CodeDay
CodeDay gets beginners excited about coding with simultaneous weekend events in cities around the world.
CodeDay Labs
A virtual internship-style program at scale. 1 industry mentor + 3 talented students + 1 open-source software project.
