How do I get a pizza or turtle badge?
The pizza and turtle badges are just for fun. They are a community joke with no inherent meaning or value.
You can get a pizza or turtle badge by typing ~badge cult in the #random channel of Discord. Once you choose a badge, you will not be able to change your mind later, so choose wisely :)

How do I change my linked Discord account?
To participate in many programs and features of the community, you need to link your Discord and CodeDay accounts. It is only possible for exactly one Discord account to be linked to one CodeDay account.
If you have multiple accounts, you may be unable to link them for one of the following reasons:
- You registered for a second CodeDay account. Your Discord account is already linked to your previous CodeDay account.
- You registered for a second Discord account. Your CodeDay account is already linked to your previous Discord account.
The easiest way to resolve this problem is to contact us. You can make a post in the #help-desk channel, or contact us by email.

Why don't I have immediate access to the Github Student Developer Pack?
In order to provide immediate access to the Github Student Developer Pack, we need to verify that you're a student. To do this, we verify if you have participated in one of the following programs within the last 6 months:
- In-Person CodeDay
- Virtual CodeDay (must have participated in project-building, not just workshops)
- CodeDay Labs
If you have only participated in the Discord community, we cannot verify that you are a student, and you will not be eligible for immediate access. School-oriented programs including CodeDay CS Fest, CodeCup, and the Big Data Challenge also do not enable us to verify that you're a student.
If you think you qualify for immediate access, please verify that you're logged into the same CodeDay account as you used for your recent participation.
Even if you don't qualify through CodeDay, you can still apply for the Github Student Developer Pack directly. Students with school-issued emails are typically approved within a few days.
