Talk Description: This talk will cover basic concepts for securing web applications, and vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, remote code injection (RCE), and Cross-Site Scripting (XSS).

Speaker Bio: Adele is a Senior Security Engineer with a full-stack development and informatics background. She performs penetration tests of web applications, cloud-deployed software systems, and mobile applications. She is a proponent of developing tooling to improve security assessment automation and effectiveness. Previously, Adele interned in the Business Intelligence at Starbucks, was a teaching assistant for data science and server-side development classes, and a research assistant in the disaster resilience space.
